Now a student at Smith College, Sasha entered foster care as a young teenager. Her Children’s Law Center lawyer, Sara Scott, made sure that Sasha didn’t have to switch schools when she moved from her birth family into foster care. Sara also ensured that Sasha had the stability she needed to focus on her education and then helped her through the college application process.
You did for me what no one else would do; you came through on your promises to always be there for me when I needed you the most. There is not a day that goes by that I do not remember you and what you did for me.
