Angie joined the Children’s Law Center in 2020 as an investigator, where she works with attorneys on the Healthy Together team to address health-harming needs of children and their families in housing, education, and health matters. Prior to her time at CLC, Angie received a Fulbright Scholarship to South Africa. There, she led a female empowerment group and a gender-inclusive leadership academy at a high school in addition to researching systemic barriers to health in female adolescents. Angie has also worked in nonprofit, hospital, and research settings nationally as well as internationally in South Africa and India. Her passion for advocating for historically marginalized communities and progressive community health policy began during her tenure as vice president of Syracuse University’s student body, where she was awarded the Syracuse University’s Senior Vice President’s Award for Outstanding Senior Leadership for her work. She looks forward to bringing her passion and knowledge to the families that Children’s Law Center is fortunate to work alongside.
