Ankur Sakaria is a staff attorney with CLC’s Healthy Together team, a project dedicated to securing remedies to the growing inequities and implications health conditions pose for children in the District. He also engages in a number of advocacy and outreach programs and works on adoption, guardianship, third-party custody and special education matters.
Prior to joining CLC in July 2021, Ankur spent nearly three years litigating First Amendment issues on behalf of American Muslims targeted by government and private discriminatory practices. Ankur has worked previously in the education space and on several research projects around data and technology advancement in law enforcement and the collateral consequences children face while interacting with the criminal justice system.
