Asha Burwell

Asha Burwell is a staff attorney in the Guardian ad Litem program, where she advocates for children in abuse and neglect cases in the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center, Asha worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Baltimore City Circuit Court and Juvenile Justice Center. As a law student, Asha participated in various social justice initiatives and programs. This includes Harvard Law’s Systemic Justice Institute, the DC Public Defender’s Office, and many community-based volunteer organizations.
