Destiny Staten

Destiny Staten is a staff attorney who represents children in the Guardian ad Litem program. As a law student, she spent two semesters with the Disability Rights Law Clinic representing individuals with a variety of disabilities, including several children who were not getting the special education services they needed in order to succeed. Destiny is also passionate about mediation, negotiation, and arbitration; she has competed internationally as a representative for WCL’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society. She also has experience working with grassroots organizations as an intern and program manager of the Baltimore Action Legal Team during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
