Dylan Kolhoff is a pro bono staff attorney at Children’s Law Center, primarily working on third party custody, adoption, and guardian ad litem cases. Dylan joins Children’s Law Center on rotation from Covington & Burling, where his practice focuses on civil and criminal litigation and government and internal investigations. Dylan has represented individuals in a number of contexts, including pro bono immigration matters and section 1983 suits. Prior to joining the law firm, Dylan clerked for Judge T.S. Ellis III in the Eastern District of Virginia and worked on Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein’s Senate Judiciary Committee Staff. Before law school, Dylan worked with middle school children in rural China through the organization Teach of China. Dylan speaks Mandarin and Spanish.
