Joanne L. Zimolzak

Joanne Zimolzak is a partner in the Washington, DC Office of Dykema Gossett PLLC where she routinely handles all aspects of complex business and regulatory litigation while offering solution-oriented, practical advice to clients in a variety of highly regulated industries. A former chair of the ABA’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, Joanne’s expertise in this area has been recognized by DC Super Lawyers in 2018 and 2019. She is a is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned her JD from the Georgetown University Law Center. Joanne first joined Children’s Law Center Board of Directors in 2015 and is now serving her second term. A long time supporter of and advocate for the pro bono and legal communities in the District of Columbia, she also serves on the Executive Committee of the DC Council for Court Excellence and the Advisory Board for the Georgetown Law Corporate Counsel Institute. When not practicing law or spending time with her family, Joanne enjoys gardening, growing both flowers and vegetables.
