Julia Leventhal

Julia Leventhal is a staff attorney in the Guardian ad Litem Program where she represents children in abuse and neglect cases in the District of Columbia. Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Julia served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Senate working to advance policies to protect the wellbeing of children and improve equity in education. As a law student, Julia participated in Georgetown University Law Center’s Federal Legislative and Administration Clinic and served as Editor-in-Chief for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. Julia speaks fluent Italian.
