Khari Cyrus

Khari Cyrus is a Pro Bono staff attorney at Children’s Law Center.  Khari joined Children’s Law Center on rotation from Covington & Burling, where he is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Public Policy Practice Groups.  At Covington, Khari represents clients in all stages of complex litigation in both State and Federal court, and represents a Fortune 200 technology company on public policy initiatives related to increasing diversity in innovation.  Khari also maintains an active pro bono practice representing criminal defendants, advising an individual on a contract dispute, and providing public policy strategies to an environmental organization.  Prior to joining Covington, Khari clerked for Chief Judge Thomas D. Schroeder of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, and for Judge James A. Wynn, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
