Maya J. Perry

Maya J. Perry is a staff attorney who represents children and families with various legal issues affecting kids’ health, including education accommodations and public benefits. Maya joined Children’s Law Center in 2022 after serving as a law clerk with The Cochran Firm’s DC office. As a law student, she spent two semesters with the Howard Law Human and Civil Rights Clinic handling client intake, as well as legal and policy work at the Supreme Court level, and with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Maya also served with the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund doing legislative research on voting rights/election administration while assisting with federal litigation and public outreach.
