Testimony: The Implementation of the Child and Family Services Agency’s Safety Planning and Informal Planning Arrangement Policies

Each year, Children’s Law Center represents approximately half of all DC children in foster care, and we appreciate that the DC Council’s Committee on Human Services has organized a roundtable on the Child and Family Services Agency’s (CFSA) safety planning and informal family planning policies. As Children’s Law Center Supervising Policy Attorney Tami Weerasingha-Cote testifies, we believe these are important policies that require continued conversations, and we look forward to a continued partnership with CFSA as the agency looks to improve the policies.
