Testimony: Extended Students’ Right to Home and Hospital Instruction Amendment Act of 2023

Danielle Robinette, Policy Attorney, testified at the Committee of the Whole Public Hearing on the Extended Students’ Right to Home and Hospital Instruction Amendment Act of 2023 (Bill 25-317). Danielle testifies in support of the amendment, which includes important clarification to the definition of “health condition” that, if passed, will ensure pregnant and post-partum students are not denied HHI. She also encourages the Committee to address regulatory and implementation concerns with additional legislative clarifications, which is outlined in her testimony.
