Krystal Montgomery
Krystal Montgomery is a Supervising Attorney in Pro Bono, responsible for ensuring supervisees provide high quality representation in custody guardian ad litem and caregiver matters. She also maintains a partial caseload, provides brief advice and services and mentors trial pro bono attorneys. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center in 2021, Krystal worked with Maryland Legal Aid in Baltimore, where she represented children in the child welfare system. She also advocated for low-income clients who were facing foreclosure/mortgage default through mediations and/or bankruptcy work. As a law student, she began to develop her commitment to public service, specifically children and families, through assisting children in the Child Advocacy Clinic and Juvenile Division of the Public Defender Office of the 4th Judicial Circuit. She graduated with pro bono honors and is now honored as a life-long Ameri-Corps Fellow.
