Testimony: School Safety Act of 2018
Children’s Law Center attorney Aubrey Edwards-Luce recently testified about the School Safety Act of 2018. We are testifying about this legislation because the attorneys, social workers, and investigators at Children’s Law Center see the trauma that children endure after being sexually abused in their homes, and we whole heartedly support the School Safety Act’s intent to prevent and respond to sexual abuse in schools. We also look forward to any opportunity to work with the Committee to further strengthen the protective efforts initiated by the School Safety Act. Read the full testimony here.
