FY16 Budget Testimony: Office of State Superintendent of Education
On April 30, 2015, Judith Sandalow, executive director of Children’s Law Center, testfied at the Office of State Superintendent of Education’s agency hearing on Mayor Muriel Bowser’s proposed FY16 Budget.
In her testimony, she expressed concern that the budget does not provide the increased funds that would allow OSSE to accelerate needed progress. She highlighted several areas where OSSE should invest additional funds in order to increase the pace of improvement in DC’s education system.
