The National Jaw Journal: Training Law Students to Help Clients
In a story by Zoe Tillman for the National Law Journal, Children’s Law Center executive director Judith Sandalow weighed in on a proposal to allow law students to gain more practical experience by providing legal assistance to low-income clients through work in law school clinics. Sandalow said expanding the capacity of the clinics is a good idea.
“We can’t possibly meet the need of the all the low-income residents in DC,” she said to the Journal. “We need as many hands on deck as we can, from lawyers at the big law firms to area law schools.”
