NPR 1A: Foster Care During The Pandemic

October 14, 2021

Throughout the pandemic, the foster care system and children within it have faced new challenges ranging from limited in-person visitations with biological family to the stress of aging out during an uncertain time. NPR 1A podcast host Jonquilyn Hill interviewed Children’s Law Center Executive Director Judith Sandalow to discuss how DC can increase supports for foster youth and foster families.

Judith shared, “There are lots of things we can do to support families so that the kids who really do need to come into foster care can have access to an adequate number of foster parents.”
