We Act Radio: Education Town Hall Radio Show Includes CLC in Special Education Discussion

The Education Town Hall radio show on DC’s We Act Radio, hosted by DC education advocate Thomas K. Byrd, included Children’s Law Center policy director Sharra Greer in a conversation about special education in the District on the August 9 show. Covering both challenges and successes of the District’s services to its special education students, the hour-long discussion touched on several issues CLC has become expertly familiar on, including transportation for students, the lack of capacity to serve children within neighborhood schools and even within the District at large, and transparency within the system.
