WTOP: DC Council approves special education overhaul

WTOP covered the DC Council’s unanimous passage of special education reform bills on October 7. The bills were “introduced by independent Councilmember David Catania, who said they will address a special-education crisis in the District of Columbia. Catania is running for mayor and has made education a top priority.” Children’s Law Center partnered with the Education Committee and Councilmember Catania to help shape the legislation.
