WUSA 9: ‘We deserve better’ DC parents say unreliable bus service harms students with special needs
Children’s Law Center joined hundreds of parents, principals, and advocates who testified about the unreliable school bus transportation issues for students with disabilities during the DC Council’s education performance oversight hearing.
Delia Goncalves of WUSA 9 included Policy Analyst Danielle Robinette’s testimony, “We have client who was paying 80 dollars a day in ride share costs to get their child to and from school on a promise of one day reimbursement.”
