Barret Claunch

Barret Claunch is a Supervising Attorney on the Healthy Together team, assisting children through our medical-legal partnership in matters of special education, housing conditions, access to health care, and public benefits. Barret joined Children’s Law Center in 2023. Prior to that he worked at Maryland Legal Aid in Prince George’s County where he represented clients in various civil legal matters including eviction defense, bankruptcy, consumer, criminal record expungement, foreclosures, tax sales, and public benefits. He was also Co-Chair of Maryland Legal Aid’s Consumer Law Task Force and served on the Legislative Committee. As a law student, Barret clerked for many legal services organizations, including Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity, Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Community Legal Services, Support Center for Child Advocates, and Legal Services of Northern Virginia.
