Carrie Tirrell

Carrie Tirrell is a Policy Attorney at Children’s Law Center. She works with advocacy partners and the DC local government to promote healthy housing for DC families. Before joining Children’s Law Center, she was a Senior Attorney with the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence, where she supported attorneys representing survivors through trainings and technical assistance. Previously, she served as Legal Services Director for the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault, overseeing litigation and legal trainings. Carrie began her legal career at the Brooklyn DA’s Office, in their Domestic Violence and Special Victims Bureaus.
