Danielle Hamilton

Danielle Hamilton is a Staff Attorney who represents children in abuse and neglect cases in D.C.’s Family Court. Danielle joined Children’s Law Center in 2024 after spending some time as a Public Defender for the state of Maryland. In law school, Danielle participated in Cardozo’s Criminal Defense Clinic as well as the Immigration Justice Clinic where she helped draft legislation in conjunction with the Mayor’s office. As an intern, Danielle spent her summers working with the American Civil Liberties Union and the Neighborhood Defender Services of Harlem. She is currently a volunteer with her local NAACP on the legal redress committee.
