Jennifer Morris
Jennifer is director of the Guardian ad Litem Program, which represents 500 children a year in abuse and neglect cases in the District of Columbia, and provides extensive training, support and mentoring to private attorneys on these types of cases. She also handles a small number of cases, including custody, guardianship and adoption matters. Since joining Children’s Law Center in 2005 as a staff attorney, Jennifer has been promoted to supervisor, senior supervisor and to her current position. While in law school, Jennifer worked as a law clerk for Children’s Law Center, interned in Senator Ted Kennedy’s Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on Immigration offices, and worked as a summer associate at a small civil and criminal litigation firm in Philadelphia.
