Jessica Kurtz Zagoren

Jessica is a Senior Supervising Attorney in the Guardian ad Litem Program, which provides comprehensive representation for foster youth to achieve safe, loving and permanent homes. She supervises staff attorneys and carries a limited caseload of neglect, adoption, guardianship and custody matters. She joined Children’s Law Center in 2011, previously working as a staff, senior staff attorney, and GAL training supervisor. As a law student, Jessica worked in the Disability Rights Law Clinic as a guardian ad litem representing adults with disabilities and children with special education needs and received the Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award. She also participated as a fellow in the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project teaching constitutional law to D.C. public high school students.
