Jess is a social worker with the Guardian ad Litem Program. Jess provides clinical consultation and advice for attorneys advocating for the best interests of the client in neglect cases. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center, Jess was a child and family therapist with YMCA Youth and Family Services, where she worked in the school setting with children struggling with trauma, depression and immigration adjustment. During her clinical internships, she served with Latin American Youth Center and the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing. Jess has specialized experience and training related to trauma, attachment, immigration, grief and related therapeutic treatment modalities. She is proficient in Spanish.
