Jonathan Krell
Jon is a senior attorney who has been fighting for his clients in the Guardian ad Litem Program since 2005. Jon has represented his clients’ interests in abuse and neglect cases and in multiple contested adoption, guardianship, custody and termination of parental rights trials. Jon also has significant experience arguing cases at the DC Court of Appeals. Jon is a part-time employee with a private practice that focuses primarily on custody and abuse/neglect guardian ad litem work. Previously, Jon worked as a labor and employment associate and counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. There, Jon won the Stark Ritchie Award, the firm’s most prestigious award for excellence in pro bono, as a result of his work on a capital murder trial. While in law school, he was the production editor of the George Washington Law Review.
