Kate Hubbard
Kate Hubbard is a Staff Attorney for the Guardian ad Litem program. She represents DC youths under age twenty-one in abuse and neglect cases. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center in 2024, Kate primarily focused her energy on Racial and Social Justice issues while in law school. She served as the ACLU student president amplifying the voices of the student body through peaceful protest against police violence, cross-organizational events with the Immigration Law Society, student LGBTQ organization, and black law student association (BLSA) to promote a more diverse and equitable law school education. Kate is also very passionate about Disability Rights Law and volunteered her time with Veteran’s Outreach in El Paso, Texas, where she was stationed previously with her active-duty spouse. She is herself a disabled veteran and knows the challenges of navigating the Veterans Affairs system.
