Kylie is a Senior Attorney in the Guardian ad Litem Program who represents children in abuse and neglect cases in the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center, she worked as an attorney for the Public Defender’s Office in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she represented clients in misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile delinquency cases. As a law student, Kylie defended clients in Manhattan criminal court through the Criminal Defense Clinic, and children in abuse and neglect cases at the Legal Aid Society of New York Juvenile Rights Practice. She was also a legal intern with the Innocence Project, working to exonerate those wrongfully convicted. Kylie was a Public Service Scholars Fellow. While in college, she interned at the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office and at the Homeless Justice Project.
