Lauren Smith is a Senior Attorney for the Healthy Together medical-legal partnership, providing services to children with health-harming legal needs in the District. Lauren joined Children’s Law Center in 2024. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center, Lauren worked as Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office recommending juveniles and young adults for community supervised diversion programs. While in law school, Lauren was selected as a member of the Moot Court Board and interned at Apple Inc. and the National Science Foundation Office of Inspector General.
