Lauren Snow
As a Staff Attorney in the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program, Lauren represents children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings in the District of Columbia. Before joining Children’s Law Center, Lauren represented children and domestic violence survivors in complex custody matters. Although she was always committed to a career in public interest law, Lauren began her career in the education field, first as an early childhood teacher and later as a family case manager for early childhood special education. During her time at the University of Michigan, Lauren completed a clinical field placement providing trauma-informed services to child victims of sexual abuse at a child advocacy center and served as a GAL for children in neglect matters.
