Makenna Osborn
Makenna Osborn is a policy attorney at Children’s Law Center. She focuses on housing policy and advocates for city-wide reforms that ensure all DC children have access to safe and healthy housing. Before joining Children’s Law Center, Makenna was a Dale and James J. Pinto Fellow at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights where she worked on human rights issues in the US criminal and immigration legal systems. While at Georgetown University Law Center, Makenna studied civil and human rights law with an emphasis on systemic advocacy. She participated in the Human Rights Institute’s Fact-Finding Practicum and International Women’s Human Rights Clinic. As an intern with Legal Assistance of Western New York, Makenna also worked directly with clients living in poverty to remove barriers imposed by criminal convictions.
