Nickie Cardamone

Nickie Cardamone is a senior education attorney with the Healthy Together medical-legal partnership and the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Program. She represents parents and caregivers primarily in education/special education cases, as well as provides technical assistance and consultation to GALs on education-related issues for youth who are the subject of abuse and neglect cases. Prior to joining Children’s Law Center, Nickie was a staff attorney with Community Legal Aid in Worcester, Massachusetts, representing students in special education, school discipline, and language access cases. During law school, she participated in her school’s Juvenile Rights Advocacy Program clinic, and interned with Greater Boston Legal Services, the National Homelessness Law Center (formerly the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty), and the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project. Nickie speaks Italian.
