Pierrea Wallace
Pierrea Wallace is a supervising attorney at Children’s Law Center, where she has worked since 2019, advocating for children and families in the District of Columbia. She began as a guardian ad litem and later served as a training coordinator supporting the development of new attorneys. In her current role, she focuses on preventative legal advocacy, with a practice spanning special education, housing conditions, and family law.
In addition to her practice, Pierrea has served as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, UDC David A. Clarke School of Law, where she taught Lawyering Process and a course on anti-racism in the child welfare system. In her independent capacity, she serves as Chair of the Citizen Review Panel overseeing the District’s child welfare system. Her work reflects a commitment to equity, holistic advocacy, and strengthening families and communities.
