Saron Setotaw
Saron is an investigator working with both the Healthy Together and Pro Bono team. Prior to this position, she was the Family Law/Pro Bono intern at Children’s Law Center where she assisted attorneys on custody and neglect cases. While earning her Bachelor’s in Social Welfare in Madison, WI, Saron served as a mentor for the Bases Project, an initiative that aims to work alongside students facing homelessness across Dane County. She also conducted research in an incarceration lab within the UW-Madison Psychology Department, working to better understand the intersection between mental health disparities, life experiences and incarceration. Saron received a scholarship from the Posse Foundation, a national leadership organization, while obtaining her undergraduate degree. As a DC native, she looks forward to serving and learning from the children and families in her community.
