Simone Ross
Simone E. Ross, a partner at Covington & Burling LLP, is a seasoned litigator who skillfully manages complex criminal and internal investigations and civil litigation for corporate and individual clients in various industries. Simone previously served as Managing Vice President of Ethics & Investigations at a top 10 financial institution, where she built and led that institution’s internal ethics and investigations department. Simone also previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia and as an Assistant Counsel in the Office of Professional Responsibility. Simone received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from Stanford University in 1988, and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1993. Simone, a native Washingtonian, currently is a member of the Chevy Chase Citizens Association and the Citizens Advisory Council for the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District.
