Stephanie P. Hales

Stephanie Hales is a partner in the Healthcare and Government Strategies groups at Sidley Austin LLP. She counsels clients on healthcare legislative and regulatory developments and their impact, providing assistance through strategic advice, analysis, and advocacy. Stephanie also has served as adjunct faculty for a health policy course at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and she received her law degree and a Masters in biomedical ethics from the University of Pennsylvania. She has served on Children’s Law Center’s Advisory Board since 2015 and joined the Board of Directors in 2019. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Pathways to Housing DC. Stephanie lives in the District with her husband, Tom, and their cat, Athena.
