Veena Subramanian

Veena Subramanian rejoined Children’s Law Center in 2025 as a Staff Attorney in the Guardian ad Litem program. She previously worked at Children’s Law Center as an Education Attorney and Guardian ad Litem from 2021 to 2024. Prior to her time at Children’s Law Center, Veena was an Equal Justice Works fellow at Open City Advocates, representing youth committed to DC’s Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services. During law school, Veena served in the Reentry Clinic and the Palliative Care Medical Legal Partnership. As a law clerk, Veena worked with the Juvenile Services Program of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and Legal Services for Children in San Francisco.
