2023-24 Oversight Testimony: Child and Family Services Agency

Children’s Law Center Senior Supervising Policy Attorney Tami Weerasingha-Cote testified before the Committee on Facilities and Family Services about the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA).

Our testimony discusses CFSA’s prevention efforts, harm reduction initiatives, and partnership focus. It also identifies several key areas of implementation where the agency must continue to improve its performance to ensure it fully meets the needs of children in care, including placement, access to behavioral health supports, and supports for teens and older youth.
