2025-26 Oversight Testimony: Office of Administrative Hearings

February 24, 2026

Policy Attorney Patrick Cothern testified before the Committee on Public Works and Operations at the performance oversight hearing for the Office of Administrative Hearings. Our testimony focuses on OAH’s role in the District’s housing code enforcement system and effective adjudication. Ultimately, leading to lingering violations, and prolonged exposure to unsafe or unsanitary conditions for many District residents.

It’s Time for Healthier and Safer Housing for all DC Residents
