FY22 Budget Testimony: OAH
Children’s Law Center Senior Policy Attorney Elizabeth Oquendo provided testimony to the DC Council’s Committee on Government Operations and Facilities about the need to ensure the Office of Administrative Hearings’ budget includes the $329k needed to cover the agency’s role in hearing appeals related to the Residential Housing Environmental Safety Amendment Act. This funding is critical to addressing the inequitable and serious health hazards caused by indoor mold contamination.
