FY22 Oversight Testimony: DC Health
Children’s Law Center Policy Attorney Leah Castelaz testified before the DC Council’s Committee on Health about DC Health’s performance this past year. In particular, she noted the important ways that DC Health’s programs and services impact the health and well-being of DC children and encouraged the agency to support implementation of HealthySteps, develop a strategy for implementation of DC’s student vaccine mandate and address the workforce shortage in behavioral health providers for kids.
