FY23 Budget Testimony: Department of Human Services

March 31, 2022

Children’s Law Center Senior Supervising Attorney Kathy Zeisel testified before the DC Council’s Committee on Human Services at the Department of Human Services (DHS) budget hearing. Kathy urged the Council to ensure the FY23 budget invests in permanent housing resources, including funding 1,040 new TAH vouchers and $200 million in the Eviction Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).
