FY19 Oversight Testimony: Child and Family Services Agency (2)
Children’s Law Center attorney Aubrey Edwards-Luce recently testified at the Child and Family Services Agency’s oversight hearing. As a member of Children’s Law Center’s policy team, Aubrey is tasked with aggregating our clients’ experiences, identifying systemic issues, and advocating for programmatic, policy, and practice changes that will promote the well-being of children and youth in care of DC’s Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). Her testimony focused on the heartbreaking impact of CFSA’s individual child and family level problems and concluded with some of the macro-level issues that we have observed.
