Testimony: Behavioral Health Housing Voucher Transparency Amendment Act of 2025
Senior Policy Attorney Makenna Osborn testified before the Committee on Health regarding the Behavioral Health Housing Voucher Transparency Amendment Act of 2025 (B26-0091).
Children’s Law Center supports the Behavioral Health Housing Voucher Transparency Amendment Act of 2025, as we believe stable housing is essential to children’s well-being. Transparency and communication problems can cause harmful delays that keep families in unsafe housing. The Act’s improvements to efficiency and document management are needed, and lessons from DHS and DCHA efforts can help strengthen DBH’s voucher administration.
