Testimony: Child Behavioral Health Services Dashboard Act of 2024
Children’s Law Center Policy Attorney Leah Castelaz testified before the Committee on Health regarding B25-0759, the Child Behavioral Health Services Dashboard Act of 2024. Our testimony argues that the legislation is a step in the right direction to address the District’s current piecemeal approach to behavioral health services navigation. We ask that the Council pass and fund this bill, as well as provide continued oversight of the eventual dashboard to ensure effective implementation and easy utilization for District children, youth, and their families.
