Testimony: Department of Health Care Finance Oversight (FY17)

Policy Director Sharra Greer testified before the DC Council’s Committee on Health regarding the FY2016 performance of the District’s Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF). DHCF is the Medicaid agency for the District of Columbia.

Sharra’s testimony focused on three main areas of discussion:

• Improved utilization of mental health services;
• Integration of primary care with developmental and behavioral health care; and
• Increased Medicaid funding for early intervention.
