Testimony: Department of Human Services Oversight (FY17)
Executive Director Judith Sandalow testified before the DC Council’s Committee on Human Services regarding the FY2016 performance of the District’s Department of Human Services (DHS). Judith’s testimony focused on TANF, particularly, the Agency’s work to formulate a long-term policy that will stave off mass cut-offs and, instead, provide families with the supports they need to meet the needs of their children.
