FY15 Budget Testimony: Office of the State Superintendent of Education

Children’s Law Center testified at a May 1 budget oversight hearing regarding the Mayor’s FY15 budget for the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). More information about the hearing is available on the Council website.

Executive Director Judith Sandalow testified to encourage additional funds to be allocated so that OSSE can continue its progress with regard to expanding eligibility for early intervention services, improving transportation reliability, and providing technical assistance to schools struggling to serve their special needs students.
