Testimony: Proactive Inspection Program Act of 2022

Children’s Law Center Senior Supervising Attorney Kathy Zeisel testified before the DC Council’s Committee of the Whole to share our support for the Proactive Inspection Program Act of 2022, emphasizing that establishing an improved proactive residential inspection program within the new Department of Buildings is critical to housing preservation and ensuring safe and healthy homes for DC children and families. Kathy also shared our recommendations to further strengthen this important bill.
